Strane Innovation
Strane Innovation is a non-profit SME dedicated to creating, developing, and commercialising innovative solutions for the environment and society. We focus on four key areas of sustainable development:

• Sustainable agriculture, terrestrial ecosystems & bio-based products
• Circular economy applied to industrial waste
• Preservation of water resources & flood prevention
• Social innovation & cognitive sciences

We aim to bridge the gap between research activities and commercial exploitation. Our Research & Innovation activities support our operational activities.

Role in the project
In the BIOMAPS project, we are leading WP10, which is dedicated to Exploitation. Throughout the project, our role will be to maximise the social and economic impact of BIOMAPS. In particular, we will:

• Analyse and prioritise the project’s Key Exploitable Results (KERs)
• Conduct market, competitive, and economic analyses
• Monitor Intellectual Property (IP) developments
• Develop suitable business models and business plans, defining a clear path to market for the most promising innovations
